Pilot open · Instagram first
Glassy is where creators and small businesses plan, publish and measure their Instagram posts, so posting no longer means opening the app that is built to keep you scrolling.

The problem
Your business needs Instagram. Your brain does not need the feed. But every work task, from posting to checking how something did, starts by opening the same app, and the app is very good at turning a two-minute task into forty.
Glassy separates the work from the feed. You plan and publish from a calm workspace, Glassy handles the timing, and you only open Instagram when you decide to.
Why "Glassy"
Glassy is what surfers call perfect water: no wind, a smooth surface, every wave clean. Nothing pulling at you.
I run a solar company, and I surf. The business needs Instagram: install days, customer stories, the before-and-after of a roof. But every time I opened the app to post one photo, I came up twenty, forty minutes later, somewhere I never meant to go. The work took two minutes. The feed took the rest.
The best moment in surfing, the barrel, does something strange to time: it slows down and speeds up at once. You only get there by being in the right place, prepared, at the right moment. Glassy is built on that idea. Plan your posts in one sitting, let them go out on time, answer the comments and messages that matter, then close the tab and get back to the water, the work, the people.

How it works
Write a week of posts in one session. Captions, media, times, content pillars. Drafts without a date wait in a side list.
Glassy posts at the scheduled time, even with your laptop closed. If Instagram hiccups it retries, and if a post can't go out it tells you why.
Reach, saves and shares arrive on their own. The first number you see is consistency: how many weeks you hit your target.
A weekly check-in tracks how much unplanned time the feed still takes. Watch it go down.
Drag a post to another day; the time stays put. Press N to capture an idea before it disappears.
Automatic retries, a full history for every post, and an alert only when something actually needs you.
Get a nudge at post time with the caption ready to copy. Post it yourself, mark it done, keep your streak.
Time-boxed work sessions and a weekly check-in show whether the feed is losing its grip.
Instagram access is encrypted at rest. Export everything as a file whenever you like. Delete your account and it leaves the app immediately and our backups within 7 days.
Built around two real workflows
Install days, before-and-afters and customer stories need to go out every week. Nobody on the team should spend the afternoon on Instagram to make that happen.
Pillars: installs, savings explained, crew, customer stories.
Sessions get filmed at dawn and edited at night. The goal is to share the good ones, not to check every like between sets.
Pillars: sessions, spots, gear, conditions.

Questions
Not yet. It removes the reasons you open it for work, and the Focus page walks you through setting limits with Screen Time on iPhone or Digital Wellbeing on Android. Device-level blocking comes after the publishing side is solid.
Instagram Creator and Business accounts first. TikTok or YouTube come next, once Instagram publishing has proven reliable for pilot members.
Automatic publishing needs a Creator or Business account, which is free to switch to in the Instagram app. Reminder mode works with any account and never connects to Instagram at all.
Not in the pilot. The first job is getting posts out without the feed. Replying on purpose, at a time you choose, is on the list.
Store what is needed to publish and measure your posts, encrypt your Instagram access, and nothing else. No ads, no selling data. You can export or delete everything from Settings.
Glassy runs in any browser, including on your phone. Native iPhone and Android apps come after the pilot shows the workflow is worth it.

Pilot members get a 20-minute setup call, a direct line to the founder, and the pilot price for good. In return: a weekly check-in and honest feedback.
You'll get an email within a few days to set up a call. Until then, try noticing how often a quick post turns into a long scroll.
